Matt.27:46. “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” There always a difficult period that man must face in life time, when things turns around and become though and rough, seemed as if God doesn’t answer prayers that are offered unto Him because of still and silence hour. Does it mean God deliberately shun believer prayers at this dark spot, or what’s really the case is all about? In this case, the Bible made clear whom God is till indefinite time saying.

”God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Num.23:19. God do delayed answer to prayers at time, that He may know the levels of our strictness towards ling-suffering and perseverance in terms of trial and temptation periods, just as He deals with the children of Israel in the wilderness way to the promised land in the old. Num.14:1-38.

This had shown why God allowed trials and temptation at time, said the Bible. “So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD”. Duet.8:3. The fact is that man is rightful owners of all things that God had created on earth which cannot be changed till thy kingdom come, but to inherit them in fullness acquired patience, long-suffering, and perseverance that shall enable one to possess them at the LORD’s will, said Lord Jesus.

“And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, * and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, * abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death”. Rev.21:6-8.

This is clear statement that indicate the reason why it seemed as if God delayed answer to prayers at time, and believers are encouraged to have patience when praying to God for answer to come, knowing that God will surely answer our prayers and all things shall become ours at the end for sure, because God answer the prayers of them that wait patiently till His own perfect time, Amen.
